MMT TAKES DELIVERY OF DOUBLE – PEDAL TRAINING BUSES FOR TRAINING DRIVERS.

On Thursday 12th February, 2009 two (2) Jonckeere training buses, first of its kind in Ghana, with double pedals and dedicated solely to train MMT drivers were officially handed over to the three (3) Belgian instructors to be used in a training program.
The six weeks extensive training program, dubbed “train-the-trainer” , started on January 25th, 2009 to train our drivers in achieving Road Safety and Fuel efficiency which are the company’s major concern outlined for the year 2009 and beyond.
The purpose of the “train – the – trainer” program is to coach MMT driver instructors who would in turn teach drivers of the company.
Management intends to carry out this training program for our drivers twice in the year and expects that within this period our drivers would improve on Road Safety regulations and Fuel Efficiency practices to enable us continue charging affordable fares.
